Georgia Farm Bureau Coordinate and Control All Projects with SharePoint Tool

Georgia Farm Bureau, the largest personal-lines property and casualty insurer in Georgia serving 350,000 Farm Bureau families, struggled to get an accurate “birds‑eye” view of multiple projects because status reports were disjointed and in multiple formats. They needed consolidated, up‑to‑date information, in‑depth time tracking by person/task/month for tax purposes, and a simple, easy-to-use project management system to reduce paperwork and administrative overhead. BrightWork, deployed on top of the organization’s existing SharePoint platform, was chosen to meet these needs.

BrightWork implemented a SharePoint‑based solution (including BrightWork Reporter and linked Access databases) that organized project information, enabled roll‑ups across large programs (some with 30+ projects), supported summary‑level task management, milestones and inter‑project dependencies, and provided detailed time tracking. As a result, Georgia Farm Bureau consolidated and analyzed project data more easily, reduced administrative work, improved coordination and control of projects and programs, and saw rapid user adoption thanks to SharePoint/Office integration — a solution BrightWork says has exceeded expectations.
