Exide Deploy and Configure SharePoint Project Solution to Match Local Processes

Exide Technologies, a global stored-energy manufacturer, faced fragmented information across different servers, inconsistent project tools and versions, and time-consuming email-based file sharing while rolling out a global new product development stage‑gate process. To unify project practices and provide a single global platform, Exide selected BrightWork’s SharePoint-based project solution.

BrightWork was deployed out of the box and customized to match Exide’s project management language and methodology—templates were adjusted and stage‑gate workflows were built to automatically create BrightWork project sites as projects passed gates. The BrightWork rollout, now global with progressive improvements in the Americas, standardized metrics and reporting, eliminated disparate status definitions, and for the first time gave Exide’s executive leadership visibility into the entire regional project portfolio, supporting better on‑time, on‑budget performance.
