CHA leverage SharePoint for faster and more consistent project reporting

Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) — the largest owner of rental housing in Chicago — struggled with manual project tracking and reporting in its Technology Initiatives Office, relying on Word documents and Excel spreadsheets for status reports, issues, risks and action items. To streamline project management while leveraging its existing SharePoint investment, CHA implemented BrightWork’s SharePoint-based project management solution.

BrightWork provided an out-of-the-box IT Project Template and project request template that CHA customized, linking requests to active projects and adding dashboards and workflows for approvals.
