Vodafone New Zealand, now One New Zealand, needed to move off a legacy Oracle-based solution and a separate Drupal CMS on a very short timeline while preserving its website’s look and supporting a major corporate rebrand. The company wanted a more intuitive, highly functional CMS that would let digital marketers publish content with less reliance on IT, while still powering e-commerce and corporate communications.

Brightspot provided the new CMS and helped Vodafone New Zealand migrate content quickly from the old systems. The platform enabled smoother editorial workflows, introduced a custom Guided Assist content type for FAQs and updates, and supported the rollout of new sites for the One New Zealand rebrand. Brightspot also helped the team adopt GraphQL for content delivery and integrate Amazon Kendra search, becoming Vodafone/One NZ’s preferred CMS and content advisory partner.
