Empowering the Evolution From Print to Digital-first Publishing for Zonda

Zonda (formerly Hanley Wood) needed to evolve from a legacy print publisher into a digital‑first company and required a flexible content platform to reshape print workflows and support over 80 editors. To meet that challenge, Zonda selected Brightspot and its Brightspot CMS to centralize authoring and modernize editorial operations.

Brightspot implemented tailored workflows, real‑time preview, centralized media and image editing, editorial feed curation, newsletter management, and real‑time analytics, while enabling sponsored and targeted content packages and selective push to print. The Brightspot CMS now manages 23 sites on a single system, cut templates from 22 to 3, saved 2–3 hours per editor per day for an 80‑person team, reduced newsletter deployment from two days to 12 minutes, lowered SaaS reliance and operating costs, and opened new ad and revenue opportunities.
