Grupo Vierci, one of Paraguay’s leading media conglomerates, needed to modernize the digital presence of its flagship publication, Última Hora, and three related sites as reader habits shifted online. Working with Brightspot CMS, the company also had to migrate a large archive of more than 1.5 million articles dating back to 2006 from an aging CMS while supporting fast-paced newsroom workflows.

Brightspot implemented a flexible multisite CMS with pre-built content types, publishing tools, collaborative workflows, and key integrations for Google tools, AFP feeds, and print-to-digital operations. The initial launch covered four sites in six months, giving Grupo Vierci a scalable platform for future growth and faster multimedia publishing, while improving its ability to deliver news quickly and manage multiple brands from one system.
