TV Azteca, Mexico’s second-largest media company, was struggling with a costly and time-consuming legacy CMS, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), which limited digital innovation and made publishing across its media portfolio inefficient. The company needed a more flexible content management platform and technology partner to improve agility, ease of publishing, and support integrations such as AI and big data tools. Brightspot CMS was selected to help address these needs.

Brightspot worked with TV Azteca over seven months to migrate 13 properties from AEM to Brightspot, consolidate multisite publishing into a single CMS, and deliver six headless applications, including an Opta Sports data solution. The result was greater efficiency and agility for editorial and development teams, simpler management across all sites and apps, and estimated annual cost savings of $1 million.
