VIP Room, a high-profile Paris nightclub, needed an elegant way to reinforce a champagne client's exclusive image by showing HD video, event footage and personalized welcome messages on six built-in coffee-table screens while also enabling real-time SMS interactivity. To meet the venue's space, heat and installation constraints, L’île des Médias chose BrightSign digital sign controllers and BrightSign Network Manager to drive the table displays and manage content remotely.

BrightSign’s solid‑state players were installed inside the six 32″ tables running dual‑zone presentations (1080i HD video plus an RSS/text ticker); video playlists are updated over the Internet about once a month and SMS messages are delivered via an Internet gateway into the RSS zone through a custom application. The BrightSign solution delivered reliable HD playback, simplified deployment versus PC-based systems, enabled table‑to‑table texting and remote content control, and paved the way for expansion of interactive features — all achieved using BrightSign hardware and BrightSign Network Manager.
