Buy Paris Duty Free, the retail brand run by the Société de Distribution Aéroportuaire at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, needed high-impact digital signage for its flagship stores but faced tight space behind screens, strict 24/7 reliability requirements, full HD playback needs, low heat and power constraints, and precise multi-screen synchronization. To meet these challenges, integrator TMM Communication selected BrightSign players (notably the HD210 and HD1010) as the core digital signage platform.
BrightSign delivered a networked solution of more than 110 HD210 and HD1010 players across four store locations, powering synchronized video walls (including 9 m² and 14 m² display walls and a 36-screen column), IR-triggered interactivity, and centralized management. The BrightSign players’ compact, solid-state design provided Full HD synchronization with very low power and heat, enabling flawless 24/7 operation, striking visual impact that captivates travelers, and a scalable installation that avoided the higher power and space demands of PC-based systems.
