Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) needed a cost‑effective, flexible and reliable digital signage solution for its large campus dining network—including eight multi‑screen menu boards at the Gene Polessini Center hockey arena and nearly 20 additional players across campus. Working with Fusion Digital, RIT deployed BrightSign XD players to feed menu content and to seamlessly integrate live “on‑ice” streams and promotional content during games.

Using BrightSign’s XD players and a single BrightSign account with multi‑user access, RIT staff across campus (and Fusion Digital remotely) can update their respective players from their own computers, simplifying management and support. The BrightSign installation has performed flawlessly, delivering zero downtime while improving content flexibility and service.
