OSM Solutions worked with BrightSign to add digital menu boards to Charley’s Grilled Subs across 16 quick serve locations in the United States and select international markets. The customer needed an HD-capable system that would let the chain control menu content centrally while still allowing franchise owners to adjust pricing for their local market, even with a mix of landscape- and portrait-oriented screens.
BrightSign’s HD220 networked looping sign controllers, along with some HD210 units in legacy installations, powered the rollout. OSM Solutions also used BrightSign’s open-source platform to build its own content management system, Menu Board Manager™, helping deliver an affordable and reliable solution and creating a recurring revenue stream for OSM.
