A BrightSign Case Study
Lee’s Sandwiches, a fast‑casual chain known for its Banh Mi and expanded sandwich menu, struggled with an overly large, visually cluttered menu that slowed ordering and hurt throughput. To modernize a new Dublin, CA concept and simplify ordering, they deployed digital signage with BrightSign—using BrightSign XD232 media players and BrightSign Network to power and manage the new displays (integrated by c3ms media).
BrightSign’s solution synchronized six portrait menu screens plus a queue screen (seven 46" Philips displays) and used dayparting to rotate breakfast and afternoon menus, forcing a visual simplification and removal of poor‑selling items. The BrightSign system made content updates easy, effectively doubled usable menu space, sped customer flow, and improved in‑restaurant efficiency and profitability, with future options to tie local control to POS for dynamic pricing and waste reduction.
