Emirates Team New Zealand Joins Forces with BrightSign at the America’s Cup

Emirates Team New Zealand needed a high-impact, easy-to-manage AV presence for its 9,600 sq. ft. hospitality lounge at the America’s Cup, staffed largely by non-technical personnel and intended to showcase cutting-edge technology. BrightSign was selected (via AV integrator Toulouse Group) to provide the solid‑state digital signage players and management tools that would deliver reliable, simple operation throughout the months-long event.

BrightSign deployed a network of 23 BrightSign HD120 and HD1020 players to sync content across a 19‑screen Full HD video wall, feed four projectors on sail-shaped screens, and deliver six channels of audio using two players plus an EM100 expansion module. The result was a fully synchronized, easy-to-operate multimedia environment—covering 9,600 sq. ft.—that provided reliable playback and cohesive branding throughout the America’s Cup.
