BrightSign Solid-State Media Players Bundled with Wovenmedia’s Cloud Video Publishing Service

Wovenmedia, a cloud video publishing company, needed a way to cost-effectively deliver full‑HD, place‑based video channels to screens, websites and mobile devices for retail and healthcare customers. To meet that challenge it partnered with BrightSign, using BrightSign network‑enabled HD210 digital signage players (with BrightAuthor and Simple Networking) to power Wovenmedia’s Video Service and support live broadcasts, social streams and licensed content.

BrightSign’s open, PC‑less platform was integrated with Wovenmedia’s service to create turnkey, low‑cost deployments that deliver high video quality, network reliability and easy content publishing. The joint solution cut power use dramatically (players consume about 3–5 watts versus 70–90 watts for typical PCs), reduced development effort, and is now running in retail and healthcare locations such as Flexi Compras and Mi Doctor clinics—demonstrating measurable energy and cost savings while enabling scalable, high‑quality digital signage.
