BrightSign HD Players Increased to 63 for Kellogg’s Corporate Communications System

Kellogg Company, the global cereal and convenience foods manufacturer, needed to replace an outdated, PC-and-CRT-based PowerPoint employee communications system that was unreliable, low-quality, and often ignored. To modernize internal communications, Kellogg engaged BrightSign (via integrator Intaglio AV) and piloted a networked digital-signage solution using BrightSign HD210 solid-state media players and BrightAuthor content software.

BrightSign installed an initial 20 HD210 units in break rooms, lobbies and public areas and, after a successful pilot, expanded the rollout to 63 players to connect more than 50 Kellogg U.S. offices and distribution centers. The BrightSign solution eliminated PCs, cut power use, allowed discreet behind-display mounting, simplified content management with BrightAuthor and SignChannel feeds, improved reliability and enabled plans for 24/7 operation and interactive touchscreen pilots — a clear, measurable upgrade from 20 to 63 deployed units across the enterprise.
