Brightsign Controllers Take the Complexity Out of France’s Largest Retail Digital Signage Network

FNAC.com, a leading French entertainment and electronics retailer with 80 stores and millions of customers, needed full‑HD, image‑quality digital signage for in‑store promotions (TVs, ticketing and POP displays) and a simple way to update content daily across locations. They selected BrightSign, deploying BrightSign players and the BrightSign Network to meet those requirements.

BrightSign’s solid‑state players, delivered via integrator TMM Communication with a custom interface, were installed networked and managed from FNAC.com’s head office; 1,500 BrightSign units now drive over 3,000 displays across 80 stores, enabling reliable full‑screen HD video, easy remote updates and lower cost than PC‑based solutions. The BrightSign solution delivered immediate operational simplicity and scalability, with plans to expand to 2,000–3,000 BrightSign units across FNAC.com outlets.
