A BrightSign Case Study
The Letterkundig Museum in The Hague needed to modernize and enliven its exhibitions during a major refurbishment, presenting 1,000 years of Dutch and Flemish literary history across many sites while delivering synchronized video, reliable playback and visitor interactivity. BrightSign was selected to meet this brief, supplying 115 media players (including HD810, HD410 and HD1010 units) and BrightAuthor software to drive the new installations.
BrightSign implemented a networked solution—100 BrightSign units powering the “Pantheon” LCD video wall, eight units driving ultra short‑throw projectors and seven kiosk players—synchronizing playback via GPIO, serial and networked controllers and enabling visitors to interrupt content for individual author stories. The install delivered a continuous 100‑display videoscape in full 1080p, centralized scheduling and power routines from a single controller, interactive kiosks with usage tracking, and dependable solid‑state operation, giving the museum measurable control, analytics and a rich, reliable visitor experience.
