L’île des Médias, a Paris-based interactive agency, was asked by a major champagne brand to create six VIP table-top video installations at the VIP Room Theater that could showcase HD promotional video and deliver personalized welcome messages and real‑time SMS interactivity. They needed a compact, rugged, easy-to-manage solution that fit inside table furniture, supported industry-standard video formats and allowed remote updates—requirements met by BrightSign digital sign controllers and BrightSign Network Manager.
L’île des Médias deployed six BrightSign-driven 32‑inch table displays using a dual‑zone layout (1080i video plus an RSS text zone), with a custom gateway app feeding SMS text into the RSS ticker; content is updated remotely via BrightSign Network Manager roughly monthly. BrightSign’s solid‑state players provided high‑quality HD playback, simplified installation inside tables, real‑time guest messaging and lower cost/complexity versus PC systems, enabling interactive VIP experiences and a scalable platform for future features such as voting.
