The Zurich Film Festival needed to deliver dynamic, interactive content to attendees across the city — from the airport to multiple festival venues — while keeping players compact, flexible, reliable and cost-effective. BrightSign (with AV partner Imaculix) supplied its digital signage players, including the TD1012, HD1020 and HD220 models, to meet the festival’s strict requirements for placement, uptime and scalability.

BrightSign implemented a networked solution powering 70 screens at more than 30 locations, providing airport loops and countdowns, live video and Twitter feeds, a Filmboutique with 50 on‑demand films, and a “Red Carpet Tool” that pushes photos to every screen in under two minutes. The BrightSign deployment delivered reliable, low‑cost playback with no reported downtime and created new interactive advertising opportunities for festival sponsors.
