Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo wanted to create a thrilling, educational shark experience that blended live fish with high-impact digital content. To achieve this, system integrator DigiComm specified BrightSign digital signage media players — deploying 42 BrightSign players to drive nearly 91 screens — to deliver synchronized, high-resolution video and interactive displays throughout the new Shark Week exhibit.
BrightSign (working with DigiComm) implemented a tiled 4K playback system including a 48‑screen digital “shark cage,” 28 front 55” screens, LED back walls in a 20m tunnel, motion‑ and touch‑controlled kiosks, and overhead projections. The installation used BrightSign features such as luma‑key masking, UDP inputs and the world’s first BrightSign video overlays to enable interactivity and flawless synchronization. The result is a highly immersive, educational attraction — powered by 42 BrightSign players and nearly 91 screens — that boosts visitor engagement while delivering the exhibit’s shark‑conservation message.
