Boulder Station Casino Upgrades to HD and Integrates State-of-the-Art Components with BrightSign

Station Casinos undertook a major A/V overhaul at Boulder Station to refresh its look, adopt Full HD displays, and better engage guests across gaming, hospitality and foodservice areas while minimizing downtime and re‑cabling. To meet these challenges, Station Casinos selected BrightSign and its XD media players and network management tools to drive a large, multi‑source signage and live‑TV system.

BrightSign deployed 150+ BrightSign XD1230 players with BrightSign Network management (using IP‑over‑coax and custom firmware integrated with Crestron) to feed 170 Samsung professional displays across 20 venues. The BrightSign solution enabled centralized and venue‑level control, live TV channel previewing and overlaid graphics, producing measurable wins: increased dwell time in the Sports/Race Books, higher food and beverage receipts, preliminary gains in lodging/day visits, and the ability to effectively double advertising inventory.
