Major cycling e-shop in Central Europe automates order fulfillment with Brightpick

MTBIKER, one of the largest cycling e-shops in Central Europe, faced challenges in speeding up order picking, reducing labor, and increasing storage density in their new fulfillment center. They needed a scalable solution with low upfront costs. The company selected the Brightpick Retriever robots to automate their storage and retrieval processes.

The solution implemented by Brightpick used 19 autonomous Retriever robots to bring goods to a single human picker, significantly cutting labor from 6-7 people per shift to one. The system achieved 300 order lines and 450 picks per hour, doubled storage density, and reduced picking errors. Brightpick provided a flexible system that allows MTBIKER to easily scale its capacity on demand.
