Case Study: My Music Folders achieves scalable multichannel growth and cost savings with Brightpearl

A Brightpearl Case Study

Preview of the My Music Folders Case Study

Why opting for the cheapest and most recognizable tech can be costly in the long-term

My Music Folders is a Montana family business founded in 2003 by Jon and Robbin Rose to support the Missoula Community Chorus that grew into a niche multichannel retailer stocking over 800 SKUs. Rapid expansion exposed operational errors and the limits of their previous platform (NetSuite), which became costly, required expensive support and custom workarounds, and ultimately hindered growth and customer service.

After evaluating vendors they moved to Brightpearl, whose out-of-the-box ecommerce and shipping integrations, included support, and centralized inventory and order management eliminated errors and reduced costs. The platform’s real-time insights have given them the time and confidence to expand into new channels, digital downloads and a subscription offering while improving service to schools, choirs and other customers.
