A Brightpearl Case Study
Cabbages & Roses is a British lifestyle brand founded in 2000 by Christina Strutt that designs and sells women’s clothing, fabric and homewares—mostly UK-made—through a Magento webstore (70% of sales), mail order, trade and a few stores including Tokyo. After regaining independence from Jigsaw in 2012 the business lacked an integrated system: in‑store POS was disconnected from online sales, inventory and order history were inaccurate, and many processes were manual and time‑consuming.
Since 2012 Cabbages & Roses has used Brightpearl to connect orders, inventory, sales channels and accounting in real time. The platform saved time, gave accurate stock levels and daily channel reporting, and provided the sales and product insight needed to drive promotions, reduce returns and inform product development—supporting the brand’s online‑first growth strategy and international and licensing ambitions (for example, a new John Lewis bed linen deal).
