A Brightpearl Case Study
Bathroom 4 Less is a UK bathroom distributor founded in 2008 that grew quickly from £1M in sales in 2013 to averaging close to £6M annually, selling 2,500+ SKUs across six channels and expanding to a 60,000 ft warehouse. That rapid growth exposed operational pain points: orders, customer data, stock and accounts were handled across multiple manual systems and spreadsheets, purchasing and forecasting were labour‑intensive, and the business was vulnerable to shocks like the post‑Brexit currency spike.
The company implemented Brightpearl as a centralised operations platform, including Demand Planning and shipping integrations, to automate order processing, inventory, accounts and purchasing. The result was faster, more accurate order fulfilment, delegated forecasting responsibility, the ability to bring fulfilment in‑house during the Brexit disruption, and support for continued expansion—helping drive projected growth to £10M in 2021.
