Rhode Island Health System Streamlines Preventive Maintenance

Care New England, a nonprofit Rhode Island health system that includes three hospitals, 30 parent and 29 satellite locations and about 8,000 employees (with 25 full‑time maintenance staff), needed a streamlined way to manage and track work orders and preventive maintenance across multiple sites. The system also required real‑time visibility and easier, auditable reporting to satisfy Joint Commission requirements and internal leadership.

Brightly implemented TheWorxHub, a web‑based work order and preventive‑maintenance platform accessible from computers, tablets and smartphones. The solution centralized requests, enabled real‑time tracking and prioritization, simplified customizable report generation for the Joint Commission, and provided a dedicated product specialist for ongoing support. As a result, Care New England now has streamlined maintenance workflows, faster and more accurate reporting, improved documentation and visibility, and is moving toward automated risk scoring to further optimize asset management.
