Moonee Valley Shifts from On-Premise to the Cloud with Confirm OnDemand

Moonee Valley City Council, which serves about 130,000 residents and manages roughly 250,000 assets, had used Brightly’s Confirm on‑premise since 2009 to support 320 users and around 32,000 inspections a year. As part of its digital transformation the council needed to move off legacy infrastructure to the cloud while managing data gaps, bespoke scripts, large document stores, password‑policy changes and the change‑management impact on staff and contractors.

The council migrated to Confirm OnDemand, Brightly’s AWS‑hosted SaaS, keeping full Confirm functionality while gaining cloud scalability, instant upgrades and simple field access via Citrix. The change delivered stronger data security, lower and more predictable subscription costs, freed IT from maintenance so it can focus on higher‑value work, and enabled 320 employees and contractors to access asset management data from anywhere—even offline.
