A Brightly Software Case Study
Cirrus Aircraft, a general aviation manufacturer based in Duluth, MN with campuses in Grand Forks and Knoxville and dozens of buildings nationwide, needed a better way to manage maintenance requests and field updates. Technicians and staff were relying on phone calls and sticky notes, making it hard to capture exact locations, document issues, and update work-order progress efficiently across multiple sites.
Cirrus rolled out Brightly’s Asset Essentials mobile app with location-specific QR-code signage and training led by Lead Facilities Analyst Brian Miller. Technicians now scan assets, use phone dictation and photos to auto-populate work orders with the correct location and asset, resulting in faster adoption of a standardized process, precise location tracking, and simpler, accelerated in-field updates—replacing sticky notes and improving maintenance efficiency.
