Cornerstone Building Brands Used Brightly’s Multi-Site Solution to Save $400,000 in Maintenance Costs

Cornerstone Building Brands, a construction-products manufacturer with about 20,000 employees and facilities across the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica and Mexico, needed a replicable maintenance plan to ensure compliance and give stakeholders clear visibility into maintenance and work order progress. Their legacy 2005 system did not provide accessible data, making inventory control, preventive maintenance and downtime tracking difficult.

Starting in June 2023 with Brightly’s Asset Essentials at the West Sacramento plant, Cornerstone centralized maintenance data, improved work-order visibility, optimized parts purchasing and strengthened preventive maintenance. The Sacramento site recorded roughly $250,000 in maintenance cost savings in the first 12 months (Auburn realized about $180,000 in six months), and the company is now scaling the solution to 30+ facilities with Brightly’s training and a plan for Cornerstone-led rollouts.
