East Riding of Yorkshire Council (population ~343,200) is responsible for maintaining 3,533 km of roads and nearly 40,000 roadside and public‑realm assets across a large rural area. The Council needed to migrate its long‑standing Confirm™ asset management system from a council‑hosted setup to Brightly’s cloud OnDemand platform to reduce IT overhead, address inconsistent departmental use, and unlock better asset data and processes.

Brightly performed a full diagnostic during the cloud migration and then delivered Managed Services—system auditing, process redesign, training and onsite support—to implement best practices and boost uptake across 400+ users. The result: freed IT resources, streamlined, data‑driven asset management across departments, improved operational efficiencies and staff skills, and faster, more informed planning and maintenance decisions.
