Allen Independent School District (Allen ISD) in Allen, TX, serving 19,000 students, was hampered by disparate systems for maintenance, help-desk ticketing and facility scheduling. Their previous tools (WebTMA for work orders and Scheduler Plus for events) were difficult to use, produced inaccurate reports, lacked invoicing and auto-save features, and required extensive manual reconciliation.
Allen ISD moved to SchoolDude’s integrated suite—implementing work order, preventive maintenance, inventory and facility usage solutions with campus point-people and automated notifications and reports. The change simplified work-order processing, cut reporting and reconciliation time dramatically (timesheet reconciliation dropped from days to about 15 minutes), improved invoicing and cost recovery, sped up payments, and gave leadership reliable data; the district plans to roll out additional SchoolDude products.
