Eden Prairie School District, through Eden Prairie High School’s “Eagle Voice” innovation program, wanted to build a stronger culture of innovation while personalizing learning, engaging stakeholders, and reducing achievement gaps. But its early crowdsourcing approach was limited, and the district struggled with manual processes, tracking ideas after events, and comparing proposals across categories. Brightidea was brought in to support a more robust innovation pipeline and improve transparency.
Brightidea’s platform helped Eden Prairie Schools move beyond one-time idea collection to a more structured process with checkpoints and phases for evaluating and advancing ideas. This reduced manual work, made it easier to track progress, and gave staff, students, and the community clearer visibility into what was happening with submitted ideas. The result was a more engaged and successful innovation program, with greater transparency and a stronger foundation for ongoing change.
