Largest Retailing And Logistics Company, one of the world’s biggest retailers and logistics providers in Western Europe, needed to speed up development of a corporate internal web app for managing and pricing waste utilization services. In July 2018, they turned to Brightgrove to extend their in-house engineering capacity with a dedicated agile team for full-cycle front-end and back-end development of the web price management application.

Brightgrove assembled a dedicated team of Angular and Ruby engineers, a QA automation engineer, and a Scrum Master, provided office-based accommodation and full operational support, and rewrote the unstable legacy product from scratch into a monolithic web app. Brightgrove also integrated automated testing into CI, cleaned up the codebase, and delivered a functional internal solution with features like vendor databases, pricing calculators, logistics routes, locations, and price lists, while keeping the core team in place since 2018 and continuing to enhance the platform.
