Global Tech Company, a Canada-based provider of all-in-one invoicing and accounting cloud software for small businesses, needed to replace an underperforming development vendor and improve its native mobile apps. The company’s older Android app had low ratings and instability, and it also wanted to extend its in-house team to keep improving its iOS and Android products. Brightgrove was brought in to help modernize the mobile accounting apps and support ongoing development.
Brightgrove assembled a dedicated Agile Scrum team of Android and iOS specialists, cleaned up legacy code, stabilized and optimized the Android app, added new features, and integrated advanced payment functionality with virtual terminal and QR card scanning. The team also expanded to support iOS updates and QA automation. As a result, the Android app rating rose from 2.7 to 4.2, the app became faster and more reliable, and Brightgrove helped the customer scale development capacity over a two-year partnership.
