US Bank, one of America’s top five banks, partnered with Brightfield to address workforce planning challenges across its financial services organization. The bank was making workforce decisions at a tactical level, lacked productivity baselines, struggled to attract and retain technology talent, and faced decentralized cost management, unclear career paths, and poor alignment between IT, Finance, HR, and Procurement.
Brightfield implemented a unified workforce optimization approach using TDX and its Services Procurement module to analyze workforce mix, parse SOW documents for misclassification risk, standardize roles and skills, and define rate cards across business units and suppliers. The engagement identified an $8.5M savings action plan and delivered $1.5M in hard savings in the first three months, while also improving hiring manager satisfaction by 25%, increasing visibility into statement-of-work spend, and reducing time-to-fill and delivery risk.
