Omron Corporation, a major electronics manufacturer with global operations, struggled to keep employees across regions aligned on the company’s values and brand message as it expanded. Existing internal communications like newsletters and intranet text were not enough to deliver top-management messages deeply or quickly, so Omron turned to Brightcove’s Video Cloud to improve employee engagement and brand understanding.
Brightcove implemented Video Cloud as a secure, cloud-based internal video platform with live and on-demand streaming across devices. Omron used it to share multilingual leadership messages, management plan videos, and live event broadcasts worldwide, while also analyzing viewing data to improve future content. The result was stronger internal communication and a significant increase in intranet access compared with the previous text-based approach, helping Omron better align employees around its brand.
