Shure Incorporated, a global leader in microphones and audio electronics, needed a unified video strategy to support its international operations and the 2011 launch of Axient, a high-end wireless microphone system. Before 2010, video formats and distribution varied across regions, making multilingual content management and consistent product storytelling difficult for niche technical audiences.
Shure adopted the Brightcove online video platform and launched Axient.net with HTML5 Smart Players at NAMM 2011, enabling portable demos and widespread sharing. The platform improved content management, tagging and playlists, boosted page and video views, simplified global distribution and subtitling, and positioned Shure to consolidate its video library and expand product and training content online.
