Pictet, the Geneva-based private bank with an asset management business in Japan, needed a more secure and measurable way to distribute its in-house video content. While it had been using YouTube for financial institutions and individual investors, viewing restrictions at some client firms and a lack of access data made it difficult to ensure reach and understand video usage. Pictet turned to Brightcove, specifically the Video Marketing Suite, to improve secure delivery and marketing insight.
With Brightcove, Pictet centralized video operations, used Brightcove Live for weekly market-analysis broadcasts, and managed YouTube-based B2C content through Brightcove Social to reduce errors. Brightcove Audience also connected viewing data with Salesforce, letting the team see who watched, when, and how they engaged, with future plans to link Sitecore as well. The result was better security, easier operations, and stronger analytics that helped Pictet measure video impact more accurately and improve future content.
