SnackTV Media aggregates short-form video from TV stations and independent producers and syndicates it to more than 180 partner websites for German-speaking audiences. The company needed a way to streamline distribution, let partners monetize via pre-roll ads (working with multiple ad servers), and add value through better integration and audience reach across a target market of about 52 million Internet users in Germany.
By adopting Brightcove Video Cloud, SnackTV deployed a customizable embedded player, seamless CMS integration, social sharing tools and multi-ad-server support that made video look native on partner sites. The platform simplified content delivery and monetization, drove a 442% increase in unique visitors to partner sites (Feb–Mar 2011), and enabled plans to expand into Austria and Switzerland while boosting partner revenues.
