Revry, the world’s first global streaming network focused on the LGBTQ community, set out to break isolation for viewers in regions where queer content is limited or unsafe. To do that it needed to scale reliably to all screens and devices, deliver live programming, and provide a seamless user experience while preserving its mission of representation and inclusion.
Revry adopted Brightcove Beacon to deploy a “tribrid” distribution model (AVOD, SVOD and ad-supported live TV) with robust live‑streaming and a customizable electronic program guide. The platform enabled multiple live channels (including Revry Now 24/7), expanded distribution to 130+ countries and roughly 250 million homes and devices, improved monetization and UX, and amplified Revry’s ability to engage and inspire its global audience.
