The Sixth House, a Sherman Oaks creative entertainment agency known for managing Latin stars, partnered with rising artist Chiquis to produce Chiquis Confidential — a network-independent reality web series that would give her creative control and direct access to millions of fans. The challenge was to build a reliable, fast-to-deploy digital infrastructure that could deliver episodes on demand, support advertising, and scale across devices and social embeds.
They turned to Brightcove Video Cloud for a customizable CMS and player with multi-platform delivery and tight ad-server integration. Brightcove hosted 48 short-form episodes (3–5 minutes), supported wide embedding and social distribution, and drove strong ad performance (12.5% preroll CTR, >90% completion), engaging over 45 million fans across video, web and social; the series premiered music videos, triggered major traffic surges, spawned a second season, and cemented an ongoing Brightcove partnership.
