American Standard Brands, a leading North American manufacturer of bath and kitchen products, faced an overload of product information after a 2008 merger and needed a clearer online presence. The company redesigned its site to better showcase product lines and launched a centralized video strategy to meet growing consumer demand for performance demos and installation how-tos.
In June 2010 American Standard implemented the Brightcove online video platform, integrating more than 100 video playlists across category pages and a mobile app streaming nearly 200 videos, with plans to sync site content to YouTube. The solution sped video publishing, increased views and sharing, improved content management, boosted product awareness and sales opportunities, and gave sales reps and DIY customers easy access to engaging demo and installation content.
