A BrightAnalytics Case Study

Preview of the Van der Erve Europe Case Study

Daily monitoring and forecasting of cash flow: it can be done from now on

Van der Erve Europe, part of the Tomtree holding company and an international manufacturer of licensed and branded clothing, needed a better way to manage cash flow when the COVID-19 pandemic created uncertainty across customers and suppliers. Their existing cash planning was done only a few times a year in Excel, making it slow, manual, and difficult to use for timely decision-making. BrightAnalytics was selected to help them move to a more flexible and automated cash forecasting approach.

BrightAnalytics implemented a tailored, modular solution that automated cash planning and added personalized short- and long-term cash flow forecasting, along with financial reporting for P&L, sales and margin, and dollar requirements. The impact was significant: reporting and analysis time dropped from a full day to about two hours, manual errors were reduced, and the team gained more accurate, source-based insights. BrightAnalytics also enabled the company to expand reporting step by step and prepare for consolidated reporting across additional business units.
