Contimac, a specialist in professional machines, tools and warehouse equipment for manufacturing, construction and automotive, needed a better way to manage financial reporting after expanding through acquisition in the Netherlands. Relying on Excel and periodic reports from its external accountant made it difficult to access up-to-date numbers across countries, and the company wanted a single source of truth for monthly performance reviews and shareholder access to figures. Contimac chose BrightAnalytics for financial reporting and cash reporting.

BrightAnalytics loaded data from Contimac’s accounting systems into one platform, allowing the team to parameterise P&L, EBITDA and cost reporting themselves, align Belgian and Dutch general ledger structures, and drill down to invoice level. The solution gave Contimac real-time insight in the format it prefers, saved time by automating calculations, and made it possible for a non-IT finance user to build dashboards quickly with support from BrightAnalytics. The company is now also exploring operational KPIs such as stock rotation and product margins, extending BrightAnalytics beyond financial reporting.
