Creative and Numbers is a Kent-based accountancy practice for the creative sector run by founders Vicki and Pippa, who struggled for years with manual, paper-based processes and the intense January workload that left them working long hours every year. To modernise and regain flexibility they adopted Bright’s AccountancyManager platform to replace ad-hoc systems and centralise client onboarding, deadlines and communications.

Bright implemented AccountancyManager across onboarding, client portals, automated reminders, risk assessments, custom client fields and a searchable client timeline, enabling a smooth remote workflow for the three-person team. The change eliminated weekend work in January, left only about ten Self Assessment clients to handle in peak month, got roughly 80% of clients using the portal, let the team finish month-end tasks by lunch and supports servicing ~200 clients with capacity to double without hiring — all while enabling the founders to work remotely.
