Case Study: Power Construction achieves standardized, proactive resource planning across projects with Bridgit Bench

A Bridgit Case Study

Preview of the Power Construction Case Study

How Power Construction is leveraging resource planning across the project lifecycle

Power Construction, a Chicago-based national general contractor ranked #95 on the ENR 400, has grown rapidly in recent years and prides itself on a people-driven culture. That growth exposed limitations in their two-decade-old resource process—spreadsheets and PDFs maintained by one person—leading to disjointed reporting, last-minute staffing changes, and a need to standardize planning so teams could move from reactionary to proactive resourcing.

Power implemented Bridgit Bench to centralize workforce planning, create custom project phases, and quickly update allocations as dates shift. The platform’s permission controls and custom reporting improved visibility without risking unwanted changes, and adoption has spread across departments (Accounting, I&D, HR). As a result Power gained clearer insights into problem areas, reduced strain on staff, streamlined handoffs across the project lifecycle, and is now integrating workforce data across their tech stack via the Bridgit API and Sync.
