A Bridgit Case Study
Broccolini, a Montreal‑based construction, development and real estate services firm founded in 1949 and grown to nearly 500 employees across Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa, was managing workforce planning with fragmented Excel spreadsheets. Different teams kept their own charts, creating misalignment, manual calculations and limited visibility into future capacity — making it hard to assemble the right project teams or accurately forecast recruitment needs.
In 2019 Broccolini adopted Bridgit Bench as a centralized, visual workforce-management platform, piloting it in Montreal and expanding use across construction, HR, health & safety and BIM teams. The tool improved collaboration and alignment in resource allocation, enabled reliable bandwidth forecasting and streamlined weekly workforce‑planning meetings — resulting in stronger project teams, clearer short‑ and long‑term hiring plans and broader use of analytics to develop staff and scale the business.
