U.S. Marshals Museum opens 53,000-square-foot experience with Bridgewater Studio

The U.S. Marshals Museum faced significant pandemic-related delays and budget challenges while constructing its 53,000-square-foot facility, with concurrent construction and exhibition fabrication requiring tight coordination between multiple teams. Bridgewater Studio was brought in by global agency Thinkwell Group to provide strategy, design, and production services to help complete the ambitious project on time and within its pre-pandemic budget.

Bridgewater Studio implemented a design-build approach, working closely with Thinkwell to qualify designs and provide real-time budget feedback to maximize value and retain design intent. Their production strategy focused on shipping large, complete components from their studio to minimize on-site work and ensuring precise fitment for spaces that were not yet finalized. As a result, Bridgewater successfully helped the U.S. Marshals Museum open to the public in Fort Smith, Arkansas on July 1, 2023.
