A Bridgewater Studio Case Study
Thinkwell Group, a global experience design and production company, tapped Bridgewater Studio's Media and Technology division to help create an immersive destination for fans of The Hunger Games. The main challenge was to authentically recreate the franchise's distinct look and feel for the exhibition without access to any original film assets, all while ensuring the interactives were durable and easy to maintain for a traveling installation.
Bridgewater Studio developed three specific media interactives: a Gamemaker’s Control Table, a Propaganda Lab, and an interactive map of Panem. The team meticulously recreated assets by studying the films, developed all content and user interfaces, and leveraged tools like Maya and the Unity game engine for production. Bridgewater implemented a robust technical solution with remote-access watchdog software, setting the exhibition up for long-term, hassle-free operation as it traveled to different cities.
