Rio Tinto brings a reception lobby backdrop wall display to Chicago with Bridgewater Studio

Rio Tinto sought to enhance the reception lobby of its Chicago corporate offices as part of a redesign. Bridgewater Studio was engaged to create a branded backdrop wall display that would reflect the company's identity and heritage in the mining industry.

Bridgewater Studio designed and fabricated a custom wall display featuring a layered bronze substrate motif to represent Rio Tinto's history. The face of the display case and artifact drawers were CNC-engineered and textured to resemble the materials mined by the company. Bridgewater Studio's in-house team owned all aspects of the project from design and fabrication to installation and management, successfully delivering a solution that brought new luster to the corporate interior.
